Peter John Whitmore

Disabled songwriter, with a passion for music and technology!

From an early passion for music to a fulfilling career path, I returned to my first love of songwriting at 55. Drawing on a life of experience and a wide range of influences from folk, punk, indie, pop, jazz and loads more.

This is my story, set to music.

I hope you enjoy it!

More About Me

Man sitting in a wheelchair outdoors in front of a building with brick and stone details.

It all began one morning in 2024, when I chose to write the lyrics in my head down, then sing, develop and release them.

I was born in 1969, to Nora and Peter John Whitmore. The middle of five sons, I was always singing and dancing, and yearning to go into the performing arts. Instead, aged 16, I left to become a soldier in the British Army. Aged 20, just after getting married and experiencing the birth of my son, I broke my neck.

Never one to take the Status Quo as given, and with the help of my amazing wife, I got back on track and managed to get my Masters in Information Technology.

Combining the two passions of music and IT, I am now writing songs, and with the help of technology, turning them into something I am proud to share with the world.

I use
suno.com to compose my self written lyrics!
